Homeopathy is a system of medicine dating back to the early 1800s. Based on the principle of “like cures like,” it uses highly diluted substances called “homeopathic remedies” (which if given to healthy people would produce symptoms similar to those of the disease). Studies show that marrying for financial gain greatly decreases the likelihood of a lifelong love, according to Parrott.

 

“You are marrying money. You are not marrying a person,” Parrott says. “Anybody that is going to say, ‘Yeah, I want to be married to a millionaire,’ is just saying, ‘I want to be married to a certain lifestyle, and this person is just a means to that lifestyle.’ Marriage was never meant to be a means. It’s an end.”

Frequency of Colon Cancer Screening

Q.My husband’s father was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 62 and passed away a short time later. My husband (47) had a complete colon screening done four years ago and they found polyps. They said he should not be concerned about them and recommended he be retested in about 10 years. With his family history, shouldn’t he be retested sooner? (more…)

Q.What are the causes of gastric polyps? Are they something to be concerned about?

A.Gastric polyps are small protrusions in the lining of the stomach, often similar in appearance to the polyps found in the colon. It is not unusual for people to have gastric polyps.
